Arrival and accommodation information:

If you are travelling from a distance, please do let us know when you will be arriving in the city.  For those arriving into Manchester on Thursday evening, a number of the ManuScript Conference team members will be having a casual drink in the Cornerhouse, on the corner of Whitworth Street West and Oxford Road (http://www.cornerhouse.org/). Give one of us a call if you can't find us or get lost!

The conference will begin in University Place, which is number 37 on the campus map.  It is easily accessible from the city centre, around 10 minutes by bus: from Piccadilly Gardens, take a 41, 42, 43, 142, 143 or 157.

There are a range of hotels and hostels convenient for the University. A list of recommended accommodations can be found at:

  • Registration forms can be downloaded from the link above. Please be sure to return your registration form (with £5 registration fee) by February 16th. All food and drinks over the course of the day are included in the conference fee. Registration will begin at 9.30AM in University Place.
