Our Research

Humanities Lime Grove

Research Excellence

All of the eight subject areas within the School were judged by the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise to have more than 50% of their research at a 'world leading' or 'internationally excellent' level - and overall the School average was 70% in these categories.  We are committed to ensuring that this research excellence informs our teaching.

Interdisciplinary Research

Formed in May 2005, The Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in the Arts (CIDRA) fosters, develops, and promotes high-quality interdisciplinary research and postgraduate teaching in Arts subjects, with special reference to work originating in one or more of the subject areas currently constituting the SAHC.
