MA alumnus: Shucked in print

One of last year's MA in Creative Writing students, Adrian Joyce, has had a story accepted by leading sci-fi magazine Interzone. Entitled Shucked, Adrian describes it as "...a geeked-out comic horror story about unsolicited e-mail, homicidal kitchen appliances, a demonic hound and the abuse of petrol-station Cornish pasties."

It is expected to appear early in 2009, and Adrian says he is "hugely encouraged" by the acceptance of a story he wrote as part of his MA course.
