Sundanese Gamelan Degung

Manchester University students, with Rachel Swindells and guests, offer a dynamic programme of music for gamelan degung, a small gamelan orchestra unique to the mountainous region of Sunda in West Java. The performance includes both traditional and contemporary Sundanese repertoire, together with original compositions by members of the group.

Please note: the student composition workshop previously advertised for 14.30 has been cancelled.
