Beethoven: Sonata in A flat major, Op.26 Beethoven: Sonata in C sharp minor, Op.27’2 “Moonlight” Schubert: Sonata in A major, D.959 Acclaimed Korean pianist Sunwook Kim comes to the Cosmo Rodewald Concert Hall to kick start BBC Radio 3’s exciting six-week Piano season this autumn. Sunwook Kim burst onto the international scene at the age of just 18 when he won the prestigious Leeds International Piano Competition. Since then he has secured his place as a consummate performer with orchestras all over the world. In this recital, Sunwook Kim will perform three gems from the German Romantic tradition: piano sonatas by Beethoven and Schubert.
