Pride Chamber Music Evening Concert (BBC Radio 3 Recording)

Now in its fifth year, Manchester Pride’s series of chamber music recitals celebrates LGBT composers and features internationally renowned performers as well as young, local talent. This year’s concerts include performances from baritone Roderick Williams, the Heath Quartet, the Aquinas Piano Trio, pianist Daniel Browell and mezzo CN Lester with guitarist Toby Carr. The recitals will feature music by Tchaikovsky, Britten, Schubert, Saint-Saens, Tippett, Ireland and Somervell, as well as the world premiere of a new piece by Manchester Pride’s very own Composer-in-Association, Marc Yeats.

The concerts on Tuesday 21 and Thursday 23 August will be recorded by BBC Radio 3 for future broadcast.
