Stefan Skrimshire is post-doctoral research associate in the department of Religions and Theology, Manchester University. He teaches an MA course, Terror and Utopia, which examines how beliefs about the future impinge on contemporary political life, from Marxist revolution to the war on terror. He is author of Politics of Fear, Practices of Hope (London: Continuum, 2008).
This workshop series forms part of his two year post-doctoral research project, funded by the Lincoln Theological Institute.
