Prof. Elaine Graham is Samuel Ferguson Professor of Social & Pastoral Theology at the University of Manchester and served as a member of the Commission on Urban Life and Faith.

Gladius Kulothungan Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Institutional Studies in the University of East London was involved in the Newham fieldwork and responsible for filming the video material in East London. Gladius has held senior management positions in private and not-for-profit sectors in India and other countries and brings experience as a film-maker. He is also on the deaconate of a Baptist Church in Newham.
