Simon Visiting Professor 2006/7
Professor Douglas Crimp, Fanny Knapp Allen Professor of Art History, University of Rochester, a major public intellectual in the USA, with a international reputation in contemporary art criticism, visual studies, and queer theory, has accepted CIDRA's invitation to visit the University of Manchester as Simon Visiting Professor for two week-long visits in 2006-7.

Professor Janet Wolff, Chair in Performance, Screen and Visual Cultures
In July 2006, CIDRA welcomed our newly appointed Chair in Performance, Screen and Visual Cultures, Professor Janet Wolff, previously Professor of Arts at Columbia University, where she has instigated a number of interdisciplinary initatives.
Dr Ana Carden-Coyne, Lecturer in Conflict Studies
In August 2006, Dr Ana Carden-Coyne, previously lecturer in History at the University of Manchester, joined CIDRA as Lecturer in Conflict Studies. Ana has already worked closely with CIDRA and we look forward to some exciting interdisciplinary developments in the MA in War, Culture and History.
