Postgraduate Initiatives
Alongside events organised for postgraduates by CIDRA and SAGE, postgraduates are involved in creating a number of interesting initiatives:
The Postgraduate Interdisciplinary Seminar Series (North-West)
The seminar series of the Arts, Media and Social Sciences Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Seminar (AMSSIPS) Group.
Interface Manchester
Interface: The Interdisciplinary Student Society was formed in 2004 in order to bring people from different disciplines and career phases together to exchange experiences and ideas. Interface arranges a number of events, and has an electronic ideas exchange board named 'Mindlink'.
Interface is looking for academics who would be interested in giving a talk to Interface about any aspects of the interdisciplinary field.
Students from all disciplines are welcomed.
